C&P Historian – Pastime – Presents at Babe Ruth Museum

Chesapeake and Potomac vintage base ball historian, Richard “Pastime” D’Ambrisi, has conducted several exhibitions this summer at the Babe Ruth Museum in Camden Yards.

We are in a pretty rural area, therefore, many GPS units may not recognize the address – however, if you put in the same street address but with either White Post, VA or Boyce, VA as the town, it will take you to our property. Coming from points East: Take 1-66 West Toward Front Royal Exit 23 on to US-17N – go 8 milesTurn left onto US-17N/US-50 – go 6.5 miles Turn left onto Red Gate rd – go ½ mileTurn right onto Nelso rd. – go ¼ mile Make first left onto Long Branch Lane (you will be driving through brick and iron gates – look for the National Register of Historic Places ‘Long Branch’ Historic Marker) (We will be having the games in the first field that you see to your right.) Follow Long Branch Lane to our mini- onsite traffic circle (you will know when you see it) – Make the first right in the circle. I can meet you at 8:30 to show you where to park. We will just be parking everybody along the fence line (down a gravel road the goes around the entire large field.)
